Looking After the Whole Exterior

Mould, algae, and ingrained dirt — gone.

Windows aren't the only thing that gets dirty. Fascia, soffits, gutters, and conservatory roofs all develop mould, algae, and grime over time, and they're hard to reach without the right kit. I clean them all using soft-bristle brushes paired with a low-pressure spray and a specialist soap that breaks down dirt without damaging the surface. Most cleans are done from the ground.

Fascia Cleaning

Soft-bristle brushes paired with low-pressure spray and Viro-Sol — a specialist water-based cleaner that breaks down mould and algae without harming uPVC, paint, or render.

[   02   ]

Soffit Cleaning

Soffits sit under the eaves and catch everything — cobwebs, dust, ingrained grime. Same method as fascia, plus careful attention to ventilation grilles.

[   03  ]

Conservatory Roof Cleaning

Conservatory roofs are awkward — limited access, fragile glass, hard-to-reach corners. I use a telescopic pole and Viro-Sol applied gently, then rinsed thoroughly. Done right, they look new again.

[   04   ]

Why Annual Matters

Mould and algae build up faster than most people realise — usually two or three years before it's really visible. Annual cleaning keeps the exterior looking maintained without ever getting bad.

Done from the Ground

Most fascia, soffit, and conservatory work I do from ground level using carbon-fibre poles. Safer, faster, and means I can get into corners that ladders can't reach.

Pair with Window Cleaning

If you're already on the regular window round, fascia and soffit work fits in alongside. Same person, same standard, no separate booking required.

Fascia, soffits & conservatory questions — TOUGH
What's Viro-Sol?

It's a specialist water-based concentrate cleaner that breaks down mould, algae, and ingrained dirt. It's biodegradable to EEC standards, so it's safe around plants and pets, and it doesn't damage uPVC, paint, or render.

Will conservatory roof cleaning damage the glass or seals?

No. The soft-bristle brushes are designed for delicate surfaces, and the spray pressure is low. I'm careful around seals and glazing bars. Done right, the roof comes up like new.

Should I clean fascia and gutters at the same time?

Often, yes. If the gutters are full and I clear them, residue can splash onto fascia and soffits — so I usually recommend doing both in the same visit. I'll always recommend a window clean afterwards too, because soap and dirt tend to drift down onto the windows.

How often should this be done?

Once a year is right for most properties — paired with the annual gutter clear is the easiest way to remember it. If your property's under heavy tree cover or in a damp spot, you might want it twice a year.
