Looking After the Outside of Your Home
]

Windows, gutters, and the bits in between.

I run a one-man exterior cleaning business out of Bristol — about six miles from the city centre. The bulk of my work is regular window cleaning on a 6-weekly schedule for homeowners and small businesses, but I do gutter clearing, fascia and soffit cleaning, conservatory roofs, and internal windows too.

If you book me for windows, you don't need to look elsewhere when the gutters need clearing or the fascia goes green. I do the lot. One person, one number, one regular schedule. No need to remember when anything's due — I'll be in touch when it's time.

Common questions

[   FAQs   ]

TOUGH services FAQ — Bristol
How often should my windows be cleaned?

For most homes, a regular clean every six weeks keeps the windows looking great. Commercial premises are typically every four weeks because of higher footfall. I'll recommend the right frequency when I quote.

Do you use ladders?

Most of the time, no — I use a water-fed pole that reaches up to 36ft from the ground. It's safer and means I'm not a hazard to your kids, pets, or neighbours. For very specific jobs (skylights, sky lanterns) I'll occasionally use a ladder, but only when it's the right tool for the job.

What happens if it rains on the day?

Light rain doesn't affect the finish — the pure water I use leaves the windows to dry naturally. If it's torrential, I'll push back and let you know on the day. I work to your schedule, not the weather's.

How do I pay?

Cash or BACS — whatever works for you. I don't need anyone to be in unless internal access is needed. Most of my regulars set up a standing order so it's automatic.
